Hi all
Just some advice please on the following:
We are spending a week in Meeru from 2-9 April (our first time) and after reading many of the discussions on here have decided we would much prefer to be allocated to Maalan restaurant, as my husband is a teacher and some adults only time is much needed.
I emailed Meeru and asked if we could be allocated to Maalan (don't mind the distance) but their response was that all guests staying in beach villas are allocated to Farivalhu.
Shall I persist with this over email or ask again when we arrive? Has anyone else who stayed in a beach villa successfully swapped to Maalan?
Thanks for your help |

hiya i haven't yet been to meeru so i don't know if this post will help or not but if you are thinking that there will be lots of children running around i really don't think that is the case (i don't think you will see many children on the island if i'm honest) a recent review on trip advisor said they ate in the same restaurant & there were only 4 well behaved children there & they were no problem what so ever.
maybe you are expecting the worse when there is no need
HAPPY HOLS |

oh right that might be slightly different but that will be the most expensive time to go so i doubt people will be taking their children to go that time of year or not many people will anyway.
i'd wait to you get there & see what the situation's like ... if you feel uncomfortable & find there are more children there than you like ask the question & tell them how you feel, i don't think you'll have a problem though |

| From what I understand you won't be able to eat in the Malaan if you are in a BV or standard room... |

Hi , all BV's and JBV's in the 100's use the family restaurant but to be honest as said earlier we have used this prevously and will again this year and we have not seen that many children , my wife is a childminder so she would really not appreciate any noisy children being around when on holiday . |

Just ask to be sat away from children I am sure they will be happy to accomodate - after all they want you to have the time of your life and come back again
nothing is too much trouble |
